This amazing Castle has been host for many years to some of the most elegant and prestigious weddings here in the United State. Many movies and TV shows have been filmed here, and could be recognized as Boris's House on USA network's Royal Pains.
But on this fine day in August, it became the location for a beautiful destination wedding for some amazing people from California.

meanwhile, up in the Bridal Suite, a beautiful gown hung, patiently waiting for the bride to put on the dress of a lifetime.

The perfect cinderella slipper to marry a prince
looking out the window, onto the gardens where the ceremony will soon take place.... this is why we came, these gardens... These Amazing Gardens
The Melius Family has taken years to renovate, preserve and honor this estate to it's former glory....
What a treasure this place is, we highly recommend visiting, staying, enjoying and cherishing this lovely property. It is truly a gem.
Carmin and her team all with one common vision for the day....this room was filled with all the arrangements to soon be placed in the dining tent....
The entry landing, simple beauty at its best!
The staircase, soon to be the location where the grand reveal will take place! So pretty, so many candles... all of these were brought across the country by Carmin's Husband Robert in a 26 ft truck.... What a journey that was! But totally worth it! Look at this!
here she comes
They exchange their sweet gift, and tokens of love.... and marriage! ;)
This wedding needed all the ladies to have AMAZING purple bouquets... long beautiful, trailing cascades of orchids act as jewels to their gowns.... with pops of bright color
The entire bridal party, looking gorgeous in their bridesmaids gowns and tuxedos!
The family portrait on a wedding day.... fantastic!
At the far end of the reflection pool, formal gardens, is a gazebo....AT this perfect little place (according to the Melius family), they do not recall ever having a wedding at this amazing spot! It is a perfect spot to get married. WE brought in a chandelier, some fabric, and gave the guests parasols.... Love it!
Here Comes the Bride
The music being heard from the gardens was being played by Hank Lane Strings and pianist. A song that was composed and figured by a friend of the family, and originally by Jon Schmidt, Love Song meet La Vida from Cold Play.... Perfect! Beautiful!

You May Kiss the Bride!
Grand Centerpieces of white orchids, multiple heights of candles, goblets with floating candles, white grouping of flowers, all different and giving texture to the feasting tables.
Lady guests of the wedding all received a silk bag to place their items in, for cameras, purses, and all the other things that clutter up a table... this gave each of them a safe place to put their things for the evening...
The Bride was able to look down over her cocktail hour, while her and her new husband took a quick little break prior to coming back down to the party!
The view was magnificent! The guest could wander the gardens, and enjoy the evening with friends and family.
The dinner tent was lovely with the satin lining, chandeliers, and billowing curtains.... such a site on the lawn! What a beautiful place to eat.
as the evening fell, looking back at this magical place.... knowing what was about to happen, the surprise that lay awaiting the guests! It was so much fun~!
the toasts were done, and it was time to go to the next phase of the night....Cutting a Cake> DANCING and DESSERTS!
AS the guests entered into the ballroom, the dance floor was awaiting them, but first, we must cut the cake!
This amazing cake took 30 hours to do the detailed edible crystal work, each layer every crystal was placed by hand.... the amazing artistry of Executive Master Pastry Chef Daniel Andreotti
Completely Spectacular!
